Gianni Toso is descended from a long and distinguished line of Muranese glassblowers. A renowned maestro in Venice during the 1960s and 1970s, he was one of the first to share his immense knowledge of glassmaking. In addition to being a celebrated virtuoso of lampworked sculpture, he has worked at the furnace since he was 9 years old.
